You don't have to be a member to take part in our club rides, although regular attendees are encouraged to join, but this is entirely optional.
Anybody can join our club. There is no minimum standard. We have a wide range of members covering all abilities, so there will definitely be a group to suit you.

Simplest form of racing is Time Trailing (TT). The club runs a series of TT's on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer, where you can just turn up and give it a go. Road racing is a little different, they usually require you to me a member of a racing organisation (BC, TLI, LVRC) and to be fairly confident at riding in a group. If you chat to an experienced club member, they can point you in the right direction.
Most people in the club will volunteer their opinion (usually over social media). But if you want professional and service, our sponsor Alf Jones Cycles will be happy to help. Club members get special offers and exclusive discounts.
